It is important to know what your local city government, county commission, school boards, police and sheriff departments and all publicly funded entities are doing. With the demise of smaller local newspapers, much of the information the public is entitled to see goes unreported. We strive to fill the gap, by our reporting, to keep our community informed. As the adage says, "Think global, act local."
