Ome is the number two. Ome is the most natural manifestation of duality that is present in everything that has symmetry and it is also present in things that are asymmetrical as long as both sides complement each other. Symmetry in nature is astonishing when we contemplate the wings of a butterfly, the leaves of a plant, and the beautiful feathers of birds. Symmetry is also present in humans, for our major organs are dual such as the lungs, testicles, ovaries, and our cerebral hemispheres. The human heart contains the sacred duality as well as our arms, legs hands, and feet. Everything in nature is both female and male.
